A series of serendipitous events, intertwined with feminine intuition, birthed Mother Earth Aromatherapy. Do you believe in fate and destiny? Perhaps, more than we know, it shapes our lives with a grace beyond our understanding. The universe, in its wisdom knew Hellene’s destiny, yet her journey was fraught with trials and tribulations.

In her early adulthood, Hellene ventured into the mining industry, a world so starkly at odds with her beliefs and respect for nature. Though she couldn't quite grasp it then, she found herself repeatedly edged out of every job and couldn't ignore the yearning to walk gently on the earth. The lessons came hard and fast, culminating in a tragic motor vehicle accident. What felt like a profound setback was in reality, her turning point.
The accident left Hellene wounded body and soul but marked the beginning of a healing journey, with the support of her free-spirited Grandmother, Ellen, whose joy and unconditional love shone light on her path ahead.

The Seed was Planted
The journey began, in a cherished moment of time, when Ellen led Hellene to a Natural Skincare Workshop at the iconic 'Fremantle Arts Centre'. On that day, immersed in a world of herbal magic Hellene’s connection with Aromatherapy awakened.
With every bottle of oil and little jar of bliss, Granny’s kitchen became a haven of apothecary and herbal magic. After each blending session, excitement grew, there was alchemy at work. The design process flowed effortlessly, guided by a clear intuition as if the knowledge came from a higher source. It then became clear to Hellene that this was her destiny. Some things are simply meant to be.
Hellene soon came to understand that what she was creating went far beyond mere body products, they were tools for healing emanating the essence of love. So there it began, a spiritual journey, that gently unfolded into a business with purpose, infused with heart and soul, products, truly made with love.

From the quaint local Jarrahdale Country Market to the famous Fremantle Markets, Hellene’s ‘Labour of Love’ blossomed. As word of mouth carried her vision forward, Mother Earth Aromatherapy’s seed took root and flourished. With growing interest and numerous wholesale enquiries, she began sharing her creations with stores across Australia, embraced by the loving support of her family and friends.

The hobby that clearly was Hellene's life purpose, blossomed into a soul-nourishing successful business. Now nestled on the coast in a charming limestone studio, bathed in natural light and vibrant energy, the heart of Mother Earth Aromatherapy remains proudly grounded in South Fremantle, Western Australia.
From the bottom of her heart, Hellene extends her deepest gratitude to every customer, employee, friend, supplier and supportive family member.
